
Hayden Short is an associate in the firm’s Knoxville office practicing in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury and premises liability, and general civil litigation. He joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2019.
Mr. Short is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Law. As a law student, Mr. Short was a two-year member of the International Major League Baseball Arbitration team. Mr. Short is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Law. As a law student, Mr. Short was a two-year member of the International Major League Baseball Arbitration team. Mr. Short was also a one-year member of the National Native American Law Students Association Moot Court Team in 2019 and finished among the top eight teams nationally. Mr. Short also received the honor of becoming a member of the Order of the Barristers. Mr. Short also participated in the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy while attending the University of Tennessee, College of Law and served as on the journal’s board as an Articles Editor.
Mr. Short worked as a summer associate for the firm in the Knoxville office during the summers of 2017 and 2018.
Mr. Short is originally from Sneedville, Tennessee. And he also lived in Johnson City, Tennessee while earning his undergraduate degree at East Tennessee State University. Hayden now currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee.
