Kaycee Weeter is an associate in the Nashville office. As a member of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group, she focuses on defending physicians, health care providers, and other health care entities in health care liability actions involving allegations of malpractice. Kaycee’s professional liability practice extends to defending attorneys accused of legal malpractice. Understanding the often personal nature of professional liability allegations, Kaycee diligently defends her clients’ professional reputations. She focuses on keeping her clients well-informed, well-prepared, and as comfortable as possible throughout the litigation process. Outside of professional liability matters, Kaycee’s practice focuses on general insurance defense litigation. She is experienced in handling complex cases from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.
Before joining the firm in 2019, Kaycee spent more than three years at a Nashville boutique litigation firm where her practice almost exclusively focused on defending health care providers and health care entities in health care liability actions involving complex medical and legal issues.
Kaycee earned her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. In law school, she served as a Lead Articles Editor for the Law and Psychology Review and was active in moot court. She was a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, and she competed as a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team.
Born and raised in Maryville, TN, Kaycee has always called Tennessee home. In her spare time, Kaycee enjoys following Alabama football and spending time with her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
