Rehim Babaoglu has been an immigration lawyer for over 40 years. Having immigrated to the United States at the age of five, he passionately represents his clients in all aspects of immigration law, including U.S. permanent residency appeals, deportation defense, and naturalization hearings. He is a frequent lecturer on the subjects of immigration and deportation law for the federal, Memphis, Tennessee and American Immigration Lawyers associations. He has been honored by Super Lawyers of America as a Super Lawyer in the Mid-South for Immigration Law. He has also received designations of Best Lawyers in America for his work in immigration and consumer law. He has served the Memphis Bar Association as a member of its board of directors on two separate occasions. He has served on the Board of Directors of Memphis Area Legal Services for 17 years, two years as Chair. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Mid-South Immigration Advocates.
Mr. Babaoglu served as a part-time judicial official from February 1999 – October 2018, as an Assistant Divorce Referee for Shelby County Circuit Division II. Mr. Babaoglu is fluent in Russian and Italian.
