Andrew Grams, a shareholder based in the Nashville office, joined our firm in 2017. With over two decades of legal experience in Tennessee, Mr. Grams focuses his practice in commercial transportation, property and casualty insurance defense, and real estate litigation. Throughout his career, he has effectively handled numerous jury cases to verdict as lead counsel, along with bench trials, administrative hearings, and appeals.  Mr. Grams brings a wealth of expertise, having represented clients in a diverse array of legal matters, including complex business issues, high-exposure/large loss claims, wrongful death cases, various commercial liability claims, land use disputes, probate matters, and employment discrimination claims. He is not only skilled in the courtroom but also passionate about sharing his knowledge. Mr. Grams frequently speaks on a range of topics, from trial practice and evidence to tort law. Furthermore, he has developed and conducted training programs for both legal and non-legal professionals.

As the chair of the new associate practice group in Nashville, Mr. Grams plays a pivotal role in training and mentoring lawyers who are new to the firm and the practice of law. His commitment to education and mentorship underscores his dedication to fostering excellence within the legal profession.

Beyond his legal endeavors, Mr. Grams is an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Nashville. He serves on the constitutional review committee for the Mid-South District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, a position he has held since 2009. Mr. Grams was elected to a six-year term on the Board of Directors for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in 2019. He continues to contribute his leadership and expertise to his community and the broader church organization.
