Kaya Porter Honored as one of Nashville’s Top 30 under 30

On February 2, Kaya Porter was honored as one of Nashville’s Top 30 under 30. Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 recognizes the city’s most active young professionals and philanthropists under the age of 30 while benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s work to develop ways to control and cure cystic fibrosis. The nominees raised funds before the event and a silent auction was held at the event for attendees to contribute as well. In all, almost $300,000 was raised benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Lewis Thomason is a long-time supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s work with three former honorees: Mary Beth White, Whitney Kimerling, and Brad Craig. At the Gala on February 2, guests were treated to a specialty drink in honor of Whitney Kimerling’s cousin, Madilynn, who has cystic fibrosis. The drink was a vodka, chambord, and pineapple juice concoction which was described as “super sweet” – just like Madilynn.
