Lewis Thomason: If you could change something in the world what would it be? Ronald K. Isaacs: Selfish Answer: I would really like to change the fact that Mountain Dew Code Red is no longer available at Taco Bell. I genuinely get upset when I am FORCED to drink a Baja Blast with my Cheesy Gordita Crunches.
Beauty Pageant Answer: End the ivory trade and/or shark finning.
Lewis Thomason: Star Wars or Star Trek?
Ronald K. Isaacs: Star Wars and it’s not even close. Star Trek is basically Star Wars’ unlikeable stepbrother who is gluten-free and wears Birkenstocks.
Lewis Thomason: What’s the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?
Ronald K. Isaacs: Cursive. How are millennials going to be able to sign contracts?!?!?!?!
Lewis Thomason: What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play?
Ronald K. Isaacs: Football would be the easy answer, but I’d probably have to go with skiing/snowboarding. The Winter X-Games are awesome and skiing out west is amazing.
Lewis Thomason: How many pairs of shoes to you own?
Ronald K. Isaacs: Way too many for me to admit, but I will say that Mikel is currently the proud owner of a few of them.
Lewis Thomason: If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
Ronald K. Isaacs: Fly. I would harass all my friends constantly.
Lewis Thomason: What would you do if you won the lottery?
Ronald K. Isaacs: I would take my top-5 friends on a crazy vacation and fill their homes with Cheetos (the puffs, not that baked stuff) while we were gone. I’m talking Cheetos everywhere, but just enough to where they could still move around. I’ll offer to pay their entire mortgage and kids college expenses if they can live in their home for an entire year. They can’t remove any Cheetos, but they can eat them. And they can’t wash the orange dust off any of their clothes. I’d also have R. Kelly make an R&B song about Cheetos that plays continuously when they drive their cars.
Lewis Thomason: What shows are on your DVR?
Ronald K. Isaacs: DVR? Who has a DVR still?
Lewis Thomason: What’s the most interesting thing you can see out of your office?
Ronald K. Isaacs: There is a community of pigeons that nest under an overhang. I feel like there is a hierarchy and I spend most of my days mapping it out. There are a lot of pigeons.
Lewis Thomason: What is the one thing you will never do again?
Ronald K. Isaacs: Late night dance party with Jared.
Ronald K. Isaacs is an associate in the firm’s Knoxville office practicing in domestic relations, commercial litigation, and general civil litigation. He joined the firm in September 2013. Mr. Isaacs graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2013. While in law school, he was awarded a Baker Law Fellowship and served as a member of the Transactions Journal, the American Association for Justice Trial Team and the Moot Court Board. He served as a summer associate for the firm’s Knoxville office during the summers of 2011 and 2012. A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Mr. Isaacs earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in banking and finance from the University of Georgia in 2008.
