Peter Winterburn was a featured speaker at DRI’s Annual Meeting last month in New Orleans. He and inside counsel at James River Insurance spoke to the Medical Liability and Health Care Group on “Pulling Back the Curtain – Inside Insurance for Outside Counsel.” They discussed the pitfalls and ways to excel in the relationship between inside and outside counsel and discussed current industry trends, as well as managing insureds’ expectations of the attorney–carrier–client relationship.
