Shannon van Tol gives young students a glimpse at the legal profession

shCaptureShannon van Tol recently spent a couple of hours at the St. John Neumann Catholic School community and career fair in Knoxville to talk with students about the legal profession.

St. John Neumann is pre-K through 8th grade, and the entire school attended the career fair to learn about potential careers.

Shannon spoke primarily to middle schoolers, fielding a wide range of questions. Some of her favorites were whether she wanted to be a judge like Judge Judy, whether she represented criminals, whether lawyers make a lot of money, and what she likes best about her job.

LT thanks Shannon for taking time out from her busy practice to influence and encourage young people to consider the legal profession.
