Heidi Barcus and John Tarpley Elected to the American Bar Association Board of Governors

Heidi Barcus, a shareholder in the firm’s Knoxville office, and John Tarpley, a shareholder in the firm’s Nashville office, have been elected to the American Bar Association’s Board of Governors.

The ABA Board of Governors has the authority to act and speak for the ABA, consistent with previous action of the House of Delegates, when the House is not in session. It oversees the general operation of the Association and develops specific plans of action.

Heidi Barcus has dedicated her legal career to advocating for healthcare professionals and institutions in the complex arena of healthcare liability. She has established herself as a preeminent figure in the field, offering unparalleled expertise and unwavering commitment to her clients. Licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Kentucky, Barcus has consistently demonstrated her legal ability by successfully defending a wide array of healthcare entities in state and federal courts.
