Lewis Thomason congratulates General Albert C. “Al” Harvey on receiving the Robert W. Meserve Award from the American Bar Association Senior Lawyers Division during the recent ABA Annual Meeting. The award recognizes outstanding service to the ABA Senior Lawyers Division, which represents approximately 45,000 ABA members age 60 and older. General Harvey’s longstanding service to the ABA includes serving as a former member of the ABA Board of Governors, as a longtime delegate to the ABA House of Delegates, and as past Chair of the Senior Lawyers Division.
General Harvey was also given a special honor during the Annual Meeting when House of Delegates Chair Jonathan Cole asked him to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the opening of the House of Delegates meeting.
