Andrea Malkin and Chris Sullivan Elected Fellows at Memphis Bar Foundation

The Memphis Bar Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Memphis Bar Association. Its mission is to advocate and support public awareness of the legal system, promote social justice and legal education, and encourage and recognize professionalism among members of the Bar.

Each year the Memphis Bar Foundation selects a small number of prominent Memphis lawyers as Fellows of the Bar Foundation. They are selected not only for their accomplishments in the legal profession but for their commitment to the mission of the Memphis Bar Foundation

We congratulate Andrea and Chris on becoming the latest LT Memphis attorneys to receive this well-deserved honor.

Andrea MalkinAndrea Malkin is the managing shareholder of the firm’s Memphis office. Ms. Malkin practices in medical malpractice defense, products liability defense, and personal injury defense. Ms. Malkin was an adjunct professor of legal writing for the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law from 1999 to 2000. She was a barrister member of the Leo Bearman Jr. American Inn of Court, Memphis Chapter, 2008 to 2011.  She currently serves on the Memphis Bar Association committee on Diversity and on the Memphis Bar Association committee on Judicial Practice and Procedure.  She was also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Litigation Section Executive Council.

 

Sullivan-0935Christopher Sullivan, Special Counsel, practices in the Memphis office of Lewis Thomason. His practice encompasses many aspect of civil litigation, including medical malpractice defense, healthcare liability and fraud, professional liability defense and personal injury. Mr. Sullivan also has an active criminal practice focused primarily in federal court.  Mr. Sullivan has practiced with Lewis Thomason for the last 8 years having previously served as an assistant district attorney general and assistant city attorney in Memphis and Shelby County.
