Lewis Thomason announces that Andrea N. Malkin has been named the managing shareholder of the firm’s Memphis office. Ms. Malkin focuses her practice in medical malpractice defense, products liability defense, and personal injury defense. Andrea has been with the firm for over 20 years and has been a shareholder since 2003.
She is succeeding Michael E. Keeney who has served as the firm’s Memphis office managing shareholder for almost ten years. Mr. Keeney will remain with the firm.

He will continue to be a major contributor to Lewis Thomason’s growth and success.”
Andrea Malkin is the managing shareholder of the firm’s Memphis office. Ms. Malkin practices in medical malpractice defense, products liability defense, and personal injury defense. Ms. Malkin was an adjunct professor of legal writing for the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law from 1999 to 2000. She was a barrister member of the Leo Bearman Jr. American Inn of Court, Memphis Chapter, 2008 to 2011. She currently serves on the Memphis Bar Association committee on Diversity and on the Memphis Bar Association committee on Judicial Practice and Procedure. She was also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Litigation Section Executive Council.
