Ashton Smith is an attorney based in the Nashville office. As a member of the firm’s Construction Law Practice Group, Ashton practices principally in construction law. Ashton is also experienced in business transactions, healthcare, regulatory, insurance, real estate, and immigration law. He also previously worked at law firms in Nashville and Knoxville.

Ashton is a native of Nashville and graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was on the Dean’s List multiple semesters and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Business Reorganizations & Workouts and Health Care Law & Regulation. Prior to law school, Ashton graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, where he studied Journalism, Business Administration, and Spanish, which he is proficient in.

In his spare time, Ashton enjoys running, honing his Spanish with his wife, spending time with his friends and family, and following the Predators, Titans, and Volunteers.
