The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) recently welcomed Lewis Thomason Knoxville Shareholder Chris W. McCarty as one of only two new members from the State of Tennessee. ABOTA, which remains comprised equally of lawyers who primarily represent plaintiffs and those who usually represent defendants, only considers lawyers for membership who have tried at least ten civil cases to jury verdict and who practice to the highest degree of ethical conduct. Mr. McCarty now joins other Lewis Thomason ABOTA members, including Kevin Baskette, Al Harvey, Marcy Dodds Magee, and recent President of the Tennessee Chapter of ABOTA, Glenn Walter.
