On December 6 Christian Barker was a panelist at the Nashville Bar Association’s Annual Entertainment, Sports & Media Law Institute. His panel, “A Larger Piece of the Pie: The Legal Landscape Surrounding the Growth of Independent Record Labels and Music Publishers” discussed the legal landscape for independent artists, including important contract terms and negotiation strategies among indies and their artists and songwriters.
