Chuck Cagle and Chris McCarty, shareholders in the firm’s education practice group, recently presented at the Tennessee Association of School Personnel Administrators (TASPA). The TASPA is an organization for Tennessee school districts that provides leadership in promoting effective human resource practices within education. Chuck presented a legislative update and Chris presented an update on paid parental leave. For over 30 years, Lewis Thomason education attorneys have represented numerous private and governmental entities, including municipalities and schools, in matters affecting day-to-day operations like education-student, personnel, employment, and real estate issues. We represent more than 70 boards of public education, multiple private universities, and an association representing the premier private schools in Tennessee, and we have also represented individual educators.
