Recently, Lewis Thomason attorney Chris W. McCarty assisted W. Edward Shipe and the firm of BROCK SHIPE KLENK PLC in defending three clients during a multi-week jury trial in Chattanooga before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. The jury ultimately found no liability on the part of two of the three defendants, and only awarded a small fraction of damages against the third defendant based on what was sought by opposing counsel. This is the second positive result for Mr. McCarty before the Eastern District this fall, as he previously won a jury trial in Greeneville during the month of September.
