Congratulations to the defense team of Nic Vescovo and Noor Obaji. They won a defense verdict in a three-day jury trial in Shelby County Circuit Court in a case where the plaintiff alleged the defendant’s 75-foot truck negligently executed a left hand turn in front of the plaintiff. In closing argument, plaintiff’s counsel asked for at least $100,000 in damages. After deliberating for less than two hours, the jury returned a verdict for the defense.
