In the early evening hours of January 31st, the LT trial team of attorneys Dale Bay, Olivia Winnett, Jack Pickel, and paralegal Kim Wood – with support from their legal assistant Jennifer Rooker, received a defense verdict on behalf of a nurse practitioner who was sued for allegedly misdiagnosing a patient with sciatica after he was diagnosed the following morning with a popliteal artery occlusion. It was alleged that the delay in the diagnosis ultimately required an above the knee amputation. After less than 30 minutes of deliberation, the jury returned a defense verdict on behalf of our client.
