Glenn Walter, shareholder in the firm’s Knoxville office, has been appointed by the American Board of Trial Advocates’ National President as a member of the President’s Task Force and to the Save Our Juries Committee. The appointment is for the 2026 calendar year. Glenn has a varied litigation-based practice, regularly handling matters related to the defense of accountants, accounting firms, and lawyers in professional liability cases. He also has extensive experience as lead counsel in various areas, including product liability, insurance coverage, personal injury, healthcare liability, transportation, agribusiness liability defense, workers’ compensation, and general tort litigation. Other areas of his practice include premises liability, ERISA, and other commercial litigation matters, including Fair Debt Collection Practices Act defense. Glenn has handled matters to trial or through settlement involving claims of extensive physical and/or emotional injury as well as complicated commercial litigation. Many of his cases entail complex discovery and pretrial preparation, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation in state and federal courts. He also serves frequently as a mediator.
