On Thursday, June 17, 2021, Lewis Thomason held a reception in the Memphis office in honor of Sherie Edwards, Vice President, Corporate & Legal, who is going to be sworn in as Tennessee Bar Association President. The reception also honored Albert C. Harvey, our Lewis Thomason lawyer, who won the Judge Pamela Reeves Professionalism Award. The reception at Lewis Thomason was very well attended by lawyers in the Memphis community, as well as lawyers throughout the entire state of Tennessee. The Board of Governors, past Presidents, and many members of the Tennessee Bar Association, including judges and chancellors, attended the reception.
On Friday, June 18, 2021, the Tennessee Bar Association held a lunch, in which General Al Harvey was awarded the Judge Pamela Reeves Award for Professionalism. Several other awards were disseminated. Sherie Edwards was sworn in as the incoming TBA President.
Several Lewis Thomason attorneys were in attendance, including past Presidents Sarah Sheppeard and Al Harvey, as well as Bill Haltom.
