John Tarpley, a shareholder in our Nashville office, recently presented “There’s a New Sheriff in Town: A Novel Approach to Settling Catastrophic Cases Early” at Alfa International’s 2022 Transportation Practice Group Seminar. The theme of this year’s seminar was “What the Heck Happened to the World and Where Do We Go From Here? Defending Transportation Claims During and After the Pandemic.” Mr. Tarpley is immediate past-chair of our firm’s transportation practice group and has developed an aggressive rapid response protocol for gathering information after an accident. Recently, he has been called upon to act in the role of national settlement counsel for several trucking companies to assist them in reaching prompt and efficient resolutions of their outstanding claims.
