At the annual meeting of the Memphis Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, Jonathan May was elected Vice President/President Elect and Natalie Bursi was elected to the Board of Directors.
Jonathan May practices in the area of civil litigation, handling matters in state and federal courts throughout Tennessee. He has substantial experience defending claims involving workers’ compensation and insurance bad faith. In addition to his active litigation practice, Mr. May has counseled small business clients on matters including entity formation, employment law compliance and preparation of employer policies and procedures.
Mr. May is a contributor to 3 Shades of Blue, a blog covering the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies (www.3sob.com) and is co-host of “3 Shades of Blue Radio” on Saturday mornings on Sports 56 (FM 87.7/AM 560).
Natalie Bursi joined Lewis Thomason as an associate in the firm’s Memphis office in August 2013. During law school, Ms. Bursi worked as an intern for the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office and served as an extern for the Honorable Judge Holly M. Kirby of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Western Section. She also served as the managing editor of the Mental Health Law & Policy Journal; was a graduate assistant to Estelle Winsett, assistant dean for Law Career Services; and an orientation leader.
