More and more school districts are experiencing cyber security issues. This includes email scams, hackers, and direct attempts to steal money and private information. Justin Joy, Lewis Thomason shareholder and Chief Privacy Officer, held a webinar for the Tennessee School Board Association recently which addressed the short and long term legal implications of cyberattacks, including the actions a school district should take to ensure compliance with the law.
