Justin Joy

Justin Joy was recently a presenter for “Business Attorneys’ Guide to AI” which discussed AI use in both the business and corporate worlds.  The presentation provided a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence from two perspectives: the legal implications of AI adoption by businesses and the practical applications of AI tools within a business law practice.  Justin spoke on data privacy and security implications and best practices for data governance in AI projects.  Justin is a shareholder in the Memphis office of Lewis Thomason.  He leads Lewis Thomason’s Data Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Governance practice group and is the firm’s privacy officer.  He provides counsel to clients in a variety of industries in the area of information privacy and cybersecurity, including incident investigation and breach response management, regulatory compliance, privacy and security policy review and drafting, and cyber risk management.
