Justin Joy will be participating in UM CLE’s upcoming seminar entitled CLE by the Hour – Memphis. It is scheduled for December 8-9, 2014 at the Hilton Hotel on Ridge Lake Blvd. in Memphis, TN. Justin will speak on General Considerations for Cyber Security: Anatomy of a Breach Response.
Justin Joy, a shareholder in the firm’s Memphis office, has a variety of experience in various general civil litigation matters, including professional liability defense, business and commercial litigation, health care law, products liability and medical device liability, personal injury and business torts. Mr. Joy has been involved in a number of jury trials to verdict. Among his other areas of experience in health care, Mr. Joy counsels covered entities on a variety of matters pertaining to HIPAA, particularly Privacy Rule and Breach Notification Rule compliance. He also has experience in advising small and midsize private corporations and businesses in various areas including pre-formation considerations, entity selection, general contract negotiations and corporate governance. Mr. Joy also has represented departing individuals as well as employers and closely held corporate entities in business separation and dissolution matters.
