Larry Giordano has accepted an invitation from the Board of Directors of the American Bar Foundation to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. The American Bar Foundation was founded in 1952 and is a nonprofit, independent research institute based in Chicago, Illinois for the empirical study of law in the United States. The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation is a global honorary society of lawyers, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars. Fellows are nominated by their peers and membership is limited to one percent of the lawyers admitted to practice in the United States and its territories and a limited number of lawyers in international jurisdictions. The invitation was extended upon the recommendation of the national officers of the Fellows and the Fellows leadership in the State of Tennessee. Selection as a Fellow is intended to recognize “a lawyer whose career has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and the welfare of society.”
