On September 6th, Lewis Thomason’s Construction Practice Group hosted a construction seminar in its Knoxville office on legal issues impacting the construction and design industry. Speakers addressed Licensing and Lien Pitfalls, Contract Terms to Seek and Avoid, and Responding to and Mitigating Claims, among others. Attendees were treated to lunch while Jimmy Hyams, an award winning Tennessee sportscaster, spoke. Mr. Hyams is a member of the Tennessee Sports Writers Association and the Greater Knoxville Hall of Fame.
