On March 8, 2014, Lewis Thomason sponsored Memphis Area Legal Services’ (MALS) Saturday Legal Clinic. This free clinic, held twice a month at the Benjamin Hooks Main Library in Memphis, provides much-needed guidance to scores of under served people every month. Lawyers provide insight and guidance on a range of topics including probate, consumer protection, personal injury, veterans’ issues, family law and many more. The clinic functions by harnessing talent drawn from across the Memphis legal community. This year, Lewis Thomason provided twelve lawyers for this event, including services donated by Albert C. Harvey, Michael E. Keeney, Rehim Babaoglu, John Dotson, Justin Joy, Tiffany Taylor Bowders, Allison Wannamaker, Maggie Cooper, Samantha E. Bennett, Kenneth M. Walker, II, Natalie Bursi, and Christopher B. Sullivan, who served as the event coordinator for the firm. Lewis Thomason looks forward to many more years of partnering with MALS to provide this always needed service to our community.
