The Annual Association of Women Attorneys banquet was held on January 25th, and Lewis Thomason was a title sponsor of the event. LT associate, Noor Obaji, president-elect and banquet co-chair, presented Chief Judge Camille McMullen, Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, with the Marion Griffin Francis Loring Award. Lewis Thomason is a proud supporter of AWA, a bar association of Memphis and Shelby County. Its members are dedicated to supporting each other as attorneys, educating themselves and others in the law, and being of service to the community with particular reference to the legal needs of women. Several other Lewis Thomason attorneys serve the AWA on the executive board, including Laura Deakins (scholarship chair), Hallie Robison (Social Chair), and Caroline Montoya (TBA-YDL liaison).
