Lisa Ramsay Cole recently spoke to students in the University of Tennessee’s Law Practice Management class. She discussed the firm’s shift to remote work during the pandemic as well as ethical considerations for remote work, human resource challenges managing a hybrid workforce, and the importance of firm culture and mentorship for young lawyers. Lisa is a highly experienced and accomplished attorney with a strong focus on civil trial litigation in various areas of law. Her practice focuses on employment law, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and general casualty defense litigation. In addition to her legal practice, Lisa is president and managing shareholder of Lewis Thomason, as well as managing partner of the firm’s Nashville office. She also serves the firm as General Counsel and is responsible for handling ethical and professional responsibility matters for the firm.
