Lewis Thomason’s Memphis office hosted 2L students on the Memphis Law Review on August 22 to discuss trending legal topics that would benefit from further treatment in a Note. Our attorneys presented potential topics and shared their practice area, and the students were able to chat and discuss the options presented. In addition to the Case Comment students write during the summer, once selected for the law review, 2L students are tasked with writing a Note. The Note analyzes a pressing legal issue of their choosing. Typically, students select a problem and develop a solution for that problem. This summer our attorneys assisted in preparing students to write Case Comments. Lewis Thomason has a long history of collaboration with the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
