LT Nashville Leads Mentoring Program

The Nashville Bar Foundation Leadership Forum was created last year as the brainchild of John Tarpley. The forum brings together outstanding young Nashville-area lawyers with 3-7 years of experience to develop them as leaders for our profession.

Wally Irvin was recently selected to be a member of the Forum’s 2015-16 class, which kicks off later this month.

An integral part of Leadership Forum is the mentoring program in which Forum participants are assigned as mentors successful attorneys and judges in the Nashville area.

On September 9, LT Nashville held a mentor training program for this outstanding group of mentors. Whitney Kimerling was one of the main speakers of the training program, describing what her mentor relationship meant to her during her year with the Leadership Forum, and how mentors can maximize the experience for both themselves and their mentees.

We congratulate Wally Irvin on his selection for the 2015-16 class, and we commend Whitney Kimerling and John Tarpley for their continued leadership for this outstanding program.
