LT Workers Receive Heartsaver Hero Award

John Lewis, special counsel at LT’s Nashville office, had a heart attack while at his downtown office in February.

Three of his employees, Christin Bryant, Tasra Lumpkin and Tania Freeman, stepped in to help just as they had been trained to do.

“It was just a few months before,” said Freeman. “We knew exactly what to do.”

They performed CPR and used the AED on him until EMTs could arrive.

“Everybody jumped in and knew what to do,” said Freeman.

They were presented with the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver Hero Award.
