Maggie Roney is a shareholder in the firm’s Memphis office. A native Memphian, Ms. Roney has a diverse litigation practice throughout West Tennessee, with particular emphasis in representing defendants in healthcare liability, transportation, and personal injury litigation. Ms. Roney has successfully defended numerous cases prior to trial and through verdict, and she routinely obtains favorable results for her clients at the appellate level as well. Ms. Roney regularly litigates in both state and federal courts. She is also frequently retained before litigation to assist in evaluating and controlling her clients’ exposure to potential lawsuits.
Ms. Roney was a summer associate at the firm in law school and has worked with the firm since graduation from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2007. She serves on the firm’s recruitment committee, taking an active role in interviewing and hiring candidates for the firm’s summer associate program. Ms. Roney is also active in her community, serving on many non-profit boards and committees throughout the course of her career.
