Marshall Stair recently gave a wage and hour law update as part of the National Business Institute’s Advanced Employment Law in Tennessee presentation. Marshall discussed notable developments in wage and hour law, COVID-19’s impact on wage and hour compliance, and current trends in wage and hour law litigation. Marshall is special counsel in the firm’s Knoxville office and concentrates his practice in employment law with an emphasis on the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA/wage & hour/overtime), insurance casualty defense, and general commercial and tort litigation. While attending law school, he worked for the United States Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, assisting federal investigations enforcing the Fair Labor Standards Act.
