Marshall Stair presented an update on the Fair Labor Standards Act at the East Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women this week. Marshall concentrates his practice in employment law with an emphasis on the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA/wage & hour/overtime), insurance casualty defense, and general commercial and tort litigation. While attending law school, he worked for the United States Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, assisting federal investigations enforcing the Fair Labor Standards Act. Marshall uses this knowledge and experience with the FLSA to assist and defend employers of all sizes facing claims of minimum wage and overtime violations in Federal Courts and Department of Labor investigations.
