Noor Obaji Elected Vice President for the Association for Women Attorneys in Memphis
Noor Obaji, an associate in the firm’s Memphis office, has been elected Vice President for the Association for Women Attorneys in Memphis. The Association for Women Attorneys is a bar association of Memphis and Shelby County founded in 1979. Its members are dedicated to supporting each other as attorneys, educating themselves and others in the law, and being of service to the community with particular reference to the legal needs of women.
Obaji graduated from Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she served as the President of the Association of Women Attorneys, Graduate Assistant for the Office of Diversity, and Student Justice of the Honor Council. Among her professional honors, Obaji was the recipient of the Mental Health Law, Juvenile Justice Grant, the Dean’s Award for Excellence for Best Brief.
