Paul Whitt Featured Speaker for Construction Specifications Institute

Whitt-4467On January 13th, the Knoxville Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute held its monthly meeting at Calhoun’s on The Tennessee River.  The featured speaker was Paul Whitt of our Knoxville office. He spoke on the topic “Construction Defects and the Law.”

Paul is a member of our Construction Law Practice Group, and he concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law and litigation, including professional liability defense of design professionals as well as professional liability representation of account‐ ants and lawyers.

In 2008, Paul was awarded the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division President’s Award for his work as Chair of the Wills for Heroes Committee, which developed, organized and implemented a statewide program for the provision of free estate planning services to first responders and their families across the state of Tennessee.

Paul has also served as an adjunct instructor of Business Law at Union University.

Paul earned his BSBA from Union University in 2001 and his JD, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, in 2005.  Read more here THE SPECK
