Former Tennessee Attorney General Bob Cooper insists there is.
Cooper, former legal counsel and later AG under former Democratic Gov. Phil Bredesen, helped launch this week a new think tank called ThinkTennessee. The 501 (c)(3) organization’s stated mission is to provide lawmakers and others reliable public analysis, “pragmatic solutions” and research on a range of issues.

Robyn Jarvis Askew is a shareholder in the firm’s Knoxville office. Her practice centers on commercial law with an emphasis on commercial real estate, finance and business transactions.
