Ryan Shannon, an associate in Lewis Thomason’s Knoxville office, has been appointed to the Defense Research Institute’s Young Lawyers Steering Committee for the 2023-2024 term. DRI Young Lawyer Committee’s mission is to provide its members professional development, quality CLE programs and networking opportunities. Ryan focuses his practice in the areas of employment law, education law, insurance defense, and general civil litigation. He joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2021 after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
