Sam C. Doak has joined Lewis Thomason as special counsel in the firm’s Knoxville office. Doak has been a trial attorney for over 30 years and focuses his practice primarily on civil trial litigation, arbitration, and mediation in practice areas ranging from complex construction matters, complex product liability, marine product liability, commercial business disputes, employment litigation, transportation litigation, workers compensation, and general insurance defense.
Among his many professional accomplishments, Doak has served in several leadership positions in the Knoxville Bar Association (”KBA”) over the years including President of the KBA in 2010, President of the Barristers in 2001, and as a member of the KBA Board of Governors for many years. Doak served as President of the Hamilton Burnette American Inn of Court from 2016 to 2017.
