Sometimes Santa’s helpers work beside us every day, and we never see the hard work they do. For the last several years, Mark and Teresa Giuliani, Evan and Stephanie Giordano (Larry Giordano’s son), and Bill and Sheila Kunkel have ministered to the people of Appalachia through the purchase of hundreds of toys and lots of food. Each year the Crazy Quilt Friendship Center celebrates Christmas for approximately 300 kids in the Newcomb/Jellico, Tennessee area for families that have little. For many, the toy received at this party may be the only one they get. With the help of these fine LT folks and some churches in the Knoxville area, Christmas will be a little brighter.
