Spencer Fair focuses his practice on healthcare law, professional liability, and general civil litigation. He has extensive experience representing physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, and long-term care facilities through all phases of civil litigation in both state and federal courts in Tennessee and Kentucky. He previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee, representing the United States, federal agencies, and federal employees in civil defense throughout the district.
Mr. Fair was a member of the Knoxville Bar Association Board of Governors, the Tennessee Bar Association House of Delegates, and Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law. He is named to Mid-South Super Lawyers and Cityview Top Attorneys. He has received the Knoxville Bar Association Law & Liberty Award and President’s Award. Fair is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
