This week the Memphis office kicked off its fall clerk program with Dardanius “J.R.” Coleman and Alexxas Johnson joining us for their fall semester.

Alexxas is also a J.D. Candidate at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law with an expected graduation of May, 2022. She is a 2017 graduate of The University of Alabama with a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration. She earned her Masters of Business Administration from The University of Memphis in December, 2020. She is the president of the Black Law Student Association and Treasurer of the Association for Women Attorneys. Alexxus previously interned with the Honorable Judge Bernice Donald and was a Legal Business Analyst Intern at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

J.R. is a J.D. Candidate at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law with an expected graduation of May, 2022. He is a 2019 graduate of Mississippi State University where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. He is the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board and was the Overall Winner of the Advanced Moot Court Competition. This past summer he was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Weiss in the Shelby County Circuit Court and has previous interned for Congressman Steven Palazzo.
