Mr. Swanson is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations and the Hamilton Burnett American Inns of Court. He is a previous contributor to the Knoxville Business Journal, and authored the white paper, “Cybersecurity Advice for Physicians and Healthcare Leaders.” He is the author of a book chapter on the False Claims Act for the American Bar Association’s book “Health Law Essentials.” His writing has also been featured in the ABA Practice Management Magazine where he authored the article “Ransomware: Preparation and Response for Law Practices.” Additionally, he frequently speaks to professional organizations across the state on health law matters.
Mr. Swanson is a native of Ducktown, Tennessee. He currently lives in Knoxville and enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, and skiing with his wife and three children.
