Jacob Whitlow is an associate attorney in Lewis Thomason’s Nashville office. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, product liability, and transportation matters. Prior to joining Lewis Thomason, Jacob practiced in New Orleans, handling workers’ compensation, personal injury, insurance coverage, and maritime matters in state and federal courts.

Jacob Whitlow is an associate attorney in Lewis Thomason’s Nashville office. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, product liability, and transportation matters. Prior to joining Lewis Thomason, Jacob practiced in New Orleans, handling workers’ compensation, personal injury, insurance coverage, and maritime matters in state and federal courts.
A New Orleans native, Jacob graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2024. While in law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and competed as an oralist in Loyola’s Moot Court program. He also clerked for the Honorable June B. Darensburg of Louisiana’s 24th Judicial District Court. Jacob earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2021.
Jacob relocated to Nashville in 2026, trading maritime law for life in Music City. Outside the office, he enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and exploring all that Nashville has to offer.
