Laura Deakins Participates in CLE Panel
Laura Deakins participated in a CLE panel this week as part of the Litigation Law Fall Forum. Two Tennessee supreme court justices, a Tennessee court of appeals judge, and respected appellate practitioners from across the state discussed critical appellate practice points relating to issue preservation, briefing, and oral argument presentation, as well as developing issues.

Ryan Shannon, a 2021 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, joins Lewis Thomason. Ryan will be in the Knoxville Office. Ryan was Secretary of Vols for Veterans in his 2L year and President of Vols for Veterans in his 3L year. Ryan also participated in the Christian Legal Society.
