Thomason Hendrix partners J. Kimbrough Johnson and Elizabeth T. Collins represented an internal medicine physician and an infectious disease specialist in a recent medical malpractice trial. The plaintiff alleged that the defendant doctors had improperly diagnosed gout instead of septic arthritis. After a two week trial, the jury ruled in favor of the defendant physicians finding no negligence.
